About me
I was born and raised in Rome, Italy, where I spent the first 22 years of my life. During my senior year of high school, I had the incredible opportunity to be a foreign exchange student in California's Central Valley. That experience sparked my decision to return and pursue higher education in Fresno. I attended Fresno City College and later transferred to Fresno State, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. My passion for education led me to continue my studies and obtain a Teaching Credential in Business.
My career in education began in the fall of 2002 at Selma High School with Valley ROP, where I taught Business and Video Production. After four years in Selma, I transitioned to Clovis Unified School District, teaching and coaching at Clovis North for eight years. However, my dedication to Career Technical Education brought me back to Valley ROP in 2013 as a Curriculum Coordinator. I later served as the Director of Instructional Services, and in 2018, I was honored to be appointed as the Superintendent of Valley ROP. This journey has been a testament to my commitment to fostering student success and advancing innovative Career Technical Education programs in the Central Valley.
People often ask me why I chose to move from Rome to Fresno, and my response is always simple yet profound: “Why not?” The opportunities, community, and transformative power of education have made this journey worthwhile.
As the Superintendent of Valley ROP, I am dedicated to enhancing Career Technical Education with collaboration among district superintendents, board trustees, and site administration an teachers in our Region. This work is deeply personal to me, as it represents my belief in the power of education to change lives and build stronger communities.
